04/Mar – Chap Kor May (Chinese Valentine’s day)

The last day of Chinese New year is so call Chap Kor May (Chinese Valentine’s Day)…

Most of the Chinese will celebrate this special day. Normally, all the boys & girls will gather at the river side. Girls and boys will stand on the opposite side of the river. At first the girls will write down their name & their contact on a honey mandarin (Chinese orange) and throw into the river. Then the boys will try to take the “chinese orange” from the river. And maybe some love story will began after that….

My hometown still practise this… will update you once I obtained the photos…
