My friendster Account, My Blogs

I got my 1st friendster account in year 2003, It started when my friend invite me to join during my college time… Then I getting new friend from my friend’s friend (2nd degree friends)… and my friendster account grows big… 

Previously, my first experience for BLOG started from Friendster… Before that, I tried to make some personal website by my own, but failed (mainly due to laziness, haha)…

I come to know about “blogging” from friendster, when everyone started to set-up their friendster’s blog… I started to read my friends’ blog, some of them treat it as E-dairy, some treat it as their own newspaper (they do alot of writing regarding world news, celebrities, etc…) So, I also started my friendster blog on year 2005 (I had deleted that friendster account due to some unforeseen problem) re set-up new friendster account again on Nov’06… Click here

The blog title is “A/A” Stand for the name of 2 persons… I take down all my feeling at there, my happy & sad moment… I started to find that people actually like to read my posts, and I think I should start my blog else way for better access to public…

So, I start my blog at Blog.com with the name “闲人堂” (in english meaning “free man place”), I start to write something in there, but the result isn’t that good… At the same time, I faced Love problem, then I created another Blog at Blog.com, named “我有话要说” (in english meaning “I got something to say”), at here I write down all my problem in love, my mistake, my lesson learned, my everything… (this is an active blog of mine, unfortunately it is in Chinese, Mandrin)

I also try to create some blog at blogger.com and MSN space… but the setting is too complicated, not flexible & not user friendly… Then I found WordPress.com. I started to read other blogger post before I created my own. I find that there are many good writer in wordpress.com… such as Sky Window, Chry1, Living in his grace, Dylan jones & Juggling Cats… I learned a lot from their’s posts…

Finally I start mine in WordPress.com on Aug’06… I created Life Beside the Edge… And I put my roommate favourite quote in my blog description…

Maybe I’m alone, but I’m not lonely

I love this quote very much… I get to know many friends in wordpress.com and without them, I will loose my momentum to continue writing at here, Thanks all of you!

I think this should be my brief history of blogging…

The O.C.

Many years ago… I should say few year ago, there is a movie/series so called The O.C. which come together with a very nice theme songs by Phantom Planet - Califonia. In the series, there are some famous/familiar cast names, such as Ryan, Seth, Sandy, Kirsten, Marissa and Summer…

I like the character of Ryan, in the show he act like a new member to the cohen’s household and new to Newport. He represent every young man of this world, what ever he done in the movie are actually what we all wish todo in the our life. I got addicted to this shows, and I follow it from season 1 to season 2… unluckily, when I back to my hometown, there isn’t any TV station showing this shows, and I still haven’t watch the season 3 and the season 4…

Few days ago, My friend show me a interesting games named “The O.C.”, Link 2. I finished the games within a day. I’m Ryan in that games. Actually you can choose to be Ryan, Summer, Marissa or Seth, but I prefer Ryan.

My 10 tips of success are…

1. Do not try to think too much - People tend to think too much, too detail when they face problem. Maybe the problem is not too serious, but after too much of think then become complicated & difficult to solve. So, for me, I will treat all the problem as simple easy problem, and I can easily solve all of them.

2. We need help from other - We are lonely ranger in work life, we need help from colleagues, friends or boss… Do not feel shy to ask for help, and you’ll be sorry for not solving the problem on time.

3. Be calm - People who get angry easily would not win the battle, simple like that.

4. Think positive - People need to think positive all the time, if we think negative, the negative result will come out. Detail refer to here

5. Reading is our best friend - We can find everything in Books. I like to read, I read everyday. No matter, comic, magazine, newspaper, website, blogs & etc… I think the most important books we need to read is Bible.

6. Stay happy & cheerful - I always try my best to make myself happy. I collect all the jokes surrounding and try to cheer other people, and at the same time, I cheer myself too.

7. Be a helpful person - I always believe that “I help people, people will help me too!” and it’s work!

8. Confident - Self confident is needed. We need this, we really need this. In chinese saying, If you do not have self confident, you lost 90% of the battle before you go to battle. We should have this thinking “If you think you can, you can”. We got nothing to lose, we come to this world with nothing, and we no need to scare of losing anything even we lost in our battle. So, fight for our life, our pride.

9. Luck - I think I’m a son of god, I always have a very lucky day. When I face problem, I always got the 3rd party to help me (sometime, I do not even know that person). I always got the right person to help me at the right time. I believe in god, I knew he always stand beside me to guide me. That’s not luck, is god.

10. Support - Everybody need support, I equipedhe 9 items above because I got support from my love one. Without her, I’m nothing. So, all we need is to find a person who always stand there to support you, no matter what condition, even though everyone turn against you, but she/he is still the who let you know “You still have hope, you have me indeed!”
